AVGO is a long-term favorite, but over the last three quarters it peaked around earnings and fell after results, breaking daily and weekly support. It is now below daily support, bad for bulls, while the long-term weekly uptrend remains intact. I am watching a weekly pullback to buy at the weekly 50-day moving average.

Let's talk about a name like Broadcom, for example. You said it's one of your long-term favorite stocks , and that you also like to trade it before earnings are released. Broadcom is a great example of a stock that performed exceptionally well on the upswing before earnings due to high anticipation and high expectations.
This trade, especially in the options market, has been working extremely well quarter after quarter for years. But what I've noticed over the past three quarters is that we've seen a situation where the stock peaked around that earnings report.
The stock rises ahead of the earnings report, but once the report is released, that is not enough to push the stock higher. Thus, at this stage, we have seen a decline in the last three earnings reports following the release of the results.
Consequently, we also saw breaks in critical support levels on both the daily and weekly charts. So, at this point, Broadcom's stock has fallen below the support level on the daily chart, which is not good for optimistic traders.
However, on the long-term weekly chart, the upward trend remains intact. So, I'm monitoring that long-term plan. I am watching the long-term consolidation and the weekly pullback to see if I can buy at the 50-day simple moving average on that weekly chart.
