CoreWeave global expansion boosts growth; contracted capacity likely exceeds 4.2 GW.

Now, the next topic I would like to take a closer look at is CoreWeave. CoreWave's stock fell by approximately 3.5%. CoreWave has announced plans to build a 240- megawatt artificial intelligence cloud in Mumbai.
This is their step towards entering India. This project will consist of three complexes with a capacity of 80 megawatts each, and the tenant will be " Core Wave". The company plans to install Nvidia Vera Rubin units, which are of course the new and latest generation of Nvidia solutions.
The first wave is expected to arrive in mid- 2028, with capacity increasing subsequently. There is an additional expansion of up to 240 megawatts separate from the initial plan.
Therefore , this could become a facility with a capacity of over 500 megawatts if things go according to plan, including those expansions.
This is not the first expansion news we've heard recently. On August 4, during the earnings announcement, we also learned that they have three facilities with a total capacity of 360 megawatts that will come online in Indonesia.
So, we can see that there is a different market that Coreweave is trying to enter. This will continue to boost this growth. So, I'm very excited to hear the upcoming earnings to see how their globally contracted capacity has likely exceeded the 4.2 GW they announced last quarter, right?
They stated that approximately 1 gigawatt, and slightly more than 1 gigawatt, was outside the United States . I wonder how that will change with the recent updates we are seeing.
