Google is a top long-term pick: it owns its AI stack—TPUs, data centers, cloud, Gemini. Google Cloud revenue is nearly one hundred billion dollars, with a backlog exceeding half a trillion dollars, growing 82% annually, almost twice as fast as peers. Its integrated strategy can arm competitors and still lead.

That's why Broadcom and Google rank so high on my list. Google has its own artificial intelligence chip called a tensor processing unit, or TPU. Today, Google has more artificial intelligence computing power than any other company on Earth.
According to one estimate, they own about a quarter of the global total, which mostly operates on their own TPU units . They also own their entire infrastructure; The chips, data centers, cloud, their Gemini models, and the products and services built on them that are used by billions of people every month.
Google Cloud now generates annual revenues of nearly one hundred billion dollars. They have an order backlog exceeding half a trillion dollars, growing at 82% annually, almost twice as fast as Amazon Web Services and Microsoft Azure.
Furthermore, Google recently began selling its TPU units to external customers, and is leasing up to one million of them directly to Anthropic. Consider how much confidence you would have to lease a million of your best AI chips to the company that is building the biggest competitor to your AI models.
Google's integrated strategy is so superior that it can arm its competitors and yet remain in the lead. As a long-term shareholder in Google, that's why I don't mind the capital expenditure budget being raised to $200 billion and free cash flow turning negative last quarter.
They understand that the AI race requires time and money to win, and they are investing heavily in both.
So, whether the market shifts towards Nvidia's GPUs, Google's Tensor Processors, or Broadcom's custom chips, I'm a winner because I own all three.
