$INTC

INTC is a tough hold, not a sell: manufacturing execution had slipped but can catch up, and its US foothold gives it a chance as production moves from Taiwan. Fundamentals keep it far from a sell, but more catalysts are needed; after a 150% rise this year, JPMorgan's $85 target below the $92 price signals doubts.

Which you mentioned to me over the years. One of them was " Intel". I would like to know whether you would advise buying it, selling it, or keeping it.

As for Intel, it's a really tough decision. I had been sticking with them for a long time because I thought their skill in setting up factories, i.e. the actual manufacturing of chips and not just their design, had declined, but I thought they could catch up .

I think that's true, and I also think that because of the trend away from Taiwan, we don't want to build more factories there, and the United States is a great place. Intel has a foothold here. So, they have a chance.

I think if I were a financial analyst on the sell side again, I might classify the stock as a "hold ," or perhaps a "hold with an add-on," as we look for other catalysts that would really make us interested in Intel.

But they have some fundamentals that make their stock far from being a sell option at this stage.

Is this statement convincing? Did you follow me? No, I think that was too brief . Look, the stock has risen 150% this year. It's a stock you've been watching, and if your viewers had been holding it, they would have earned 150%. not bad.

Okay, but look, JPMorgan set a target price of $85, and it's now at $92. Well, it seems they are not entirely convinced; we need to see more about that.
