$ISRG

ISRG keeps winning despite its first legitimate competition: mid-teens procedure growth and 28% more systems installed year over year show rising usage. At 55 times earnings it is never cheap, yet these levels are among the most attractive in a decade, and competition is welcome.

All right, here's a fun one we haven't talked about in a while. Intuitive Surgical, ticker ISRG. This, of course, is one of the leaders, first mover, top dog in robotic surgery.

This is maybe the really the first time in its history it's faced like legitimate competition. Uh, but it continues to win.

We just got earnings from it recently. Mid- teens procedures growth that drives that recurring consumer sale. uh consumable sales placed 546 of its Da Vinci systems that's like its legacy core thoracic surgery system 56 of its ion systems which is its Indoluminal system that's 28% more systems installed than it did in the same quarter a year ago it has 13% more robotic surgery systems operating now than it did a year ago procedures growth 15%

the math says that even with competition emerging surgeons and healthare systems continue increasing their usage of the company's surgical systems trades for about 55 times earnings 40 times fast cash flow.

It's not cheap. It's never cheap by traditional me metrics. This is a classic rule breaker but these levels they still represent some of the most attractive we've ever seen from the company or at least in the past decade.

I mean, I like hearing about competition in this space, right? Like iron sharpens iron. So, I don't know, maybe they got a bright future ahead of them. Yeah, this is a space that I stock that I wish I would have bought a long time ago when Mly Fool started covering it.
