Micron has more upside potential than downside risk in the long term.

Micron, did you guys trade Micron yesterday? because that was that was an epic ride. We watched it from the opening bell. Who was here for it yesterday? Say me if you were here for it yesterday.
We watched Micron open uh what was it around 1050. It climbed all the way up to 10 1070. Then it dropped down to 1022. and then it pushed all the way to 1095 uh where it closed.
And so just just as an example, I did trade Micron yesterday and I I'll show you over here on the right if you look at Micron. We're going to go to yesterday's trades. So I bought the 1060 call at 1243 one contract for $12.60.
60. So that's $1,260 um expiring today. Now, I'm going to watch that obviously because I'm not I didn't want to risk the full $1,260. Uh I sold it a little bit later for $1,525 a couple minutes later, but that went on to be worth $37.
So 1,200. You could have tripled your money micron in that move in a couple hours. And then I bought it again, the 1100 call for 520. Uh, and notice notice what I'm doing here.
And I think this is good for learning purposes. I bought the 1060, right? The 1060 call for $12.60 when it was below 1060 and I sold that for$,525. Then as it started to run higher, I bought the 1100 call.
Why did I buy the 1100 call? because I took the $15 of risk off the table and replaced it with just $5 of risk, right? So, it's called leging up. Like, by the time I put on that second trade where I had to lose, even though I'm risking five, I could only lose two because I already made $3.
And then I sold these for $1070. Okay? So, now I've made $700 and then I bought the 1120. So, I keep buying the out of the money options and I bought it for $585. So, if this one went to zero, I still made a couple hundred and I sold that one for 680 and that was my day trading micron.
So, I mean it was one contract. Um, I'm trying to trade smaller, trade less, and have that be less of a distraction so that I'm involved. But, I made $1,000 in it and I thought it was good.
anyone have levels they want to share in micron? I think the key psychological level will be 200 uh if it races through there and then it could it could run for a high.
I actually had um my mom call me and she's like can you help your nephew? Uh he's in a high school stock market game and he said all his friends are talking about Micron. Do you know anything about that?
I'm like mom I mean do you watch my new show? because all I did was talk about Micron yesterday for like 30 minutes. And so I called my nephew, we went over it and uh they owning their game and he asked me a very tough question.
He said, "Do you think it's going to go higher?" And I had to think about that because, you know, it's up 5x this year. It had earnings. Goldman said it was near the top. But I think as a long-term consideration for Micron, my answer was I think there's more room to the upside than downside. like maybe it goes down a couple hundred points, but maybe it goes up another thousand. So, yeah, that was my take.
How did you decide to buy Micron and kept buying it? When it comes to Micron yesterday, you know what you're looking for is what I was looking for was the stock to finally choose a direction in the morning.
Notice my first trade in Micron wasn't until 12:30 because it's just too hard. We watched it in the morning and it went from 10:50 to 1070 to 10:30 and it was jumping five six points at a time around the 11 12:00 area.
And Micron started to come off its lows. So the first call I bought was the 1060 probably when it was at like 1040 something because it was looks like it was starting to push up and then once it got to like 1070 now it's like okay I made money in this I want to buy more but I don't want to risk $15 in the call I own so I'm if it's if it's going to keep going because it's a $1,000 stock so it could push 20 30 points then I'll buy a higher one and then so I bought the uh 1100 kept pushing higher I want take some profit off the table. So, I sold that and bought the 1120.
Verse one that MU once it's out of those early intraday levels set up pretty nicely the market followed through.
Micron. Oh my. Where's Micron? Oh my god. Ah, now it's 11:10. Should have should have held the calls overnight, I guess. Should have been an overnight call holder. Oh my god. Good move by Micron.
So, honestly, I guess they they were expecting a big move because the 750 calls were 76 cents overnight. Um and so yeah, I mean and the 734 puts were 80 cents. So yeah, they were pricing in a big move on this number.
Funny thing is we got to know what all these stocks do. Like Micron, I'm like trying to think like how would I would use it.
Um, you know, that said, like we saw what Micron did yesterday. We saw that move from 1020 to 1090.
where's Micro?
Micron right down. Wow. Dropped 15 points from pre-open. Dude, that MU. Look at this. Look at this. Look at this chart. Oh my god. On the open trap
Micron uh Micron, you know, now below 1100. I don't feel I was mad I didn't come in with calls, but now I'm okay with it.
