$NFLX

NFLX is in a monstrous downtrend: all key moving averages point down and price is below them, leaving nothing to interest a buyer. A possible double bottom is undercut by lower highs; he is not interested. Only an earnings gap below 65 might give day traders a quick rebound; a gap up would be a short setup.

First of all, Netflix um they report tomorrow. This is maybe the kind of thing where bad news is good news. Um I think that from what I understand though frankly I don't really watch anything on Netflix anymore and that's probably the problem.

But [clears throat] I haven't really seen anything on Netflix in quite a while that's interesting enough for me to take 15 seconds um to preview it.

This stock is still in a monstrous downtrend. You can see there all the key moving averages are pointing downward. The 200, the 150, the 50, and the price even below that. So, there's literally nothing that you want in this stock.

There's not one thing, one thing that should get you interested in buying this stock. Not one thing.

Now, if you're a day trader, 59minut trader, then fine, Wednesday morning, this could be a pretty good trade. But this is how that would work. If the stock gaps down like over 5%, we'll just say this.

If the stock gaps down uh below 65 bucks, you're probably going to see a rebound. So, if it gaps way down here on really crappy earnings, then this could be a quick hit to the upside.

On the other hand, if the stock gaps up for whatever stupid ass reason that would be, that's when you would actually want to short the stock.

But what I'm saying is this is a stock that's in a downtrend. and downtrends persist all the way up until the time that they don't. So, I can make a case for kind of a double bottom here and that would be this and then this kind of a higher low here.

But that that only goes so far because like look at the highs here. High lower high lower high still lower high still lower high still. So, we got a bunch of lower highs going on.

Um, a bunch of lower highs happening. Um, and so you want to just for me, I'm not interested in this stock whatsoever, but you may be. I've just given you my admonition.
