On YouTube, I asked you which of these dividend-paying stocks we should increase our investment in? PepsiCo swept to first place with 42% of the votes. With only one real competitor, Realty Inc., with about 31% of the votes.
But yes, this option makes perfect sense , as you know that Pepsi is about to announce its earnings. Maybe by the time you watch this video , because uploading the video may take me some time.
It is likely to be released over the weekend. They may have already announced their new earnings by the time you watch the video. So perhaps the stock has started to recover a little, or perhaps it has fallen further.
But at the time of recording this video, I feel that Pepsi is offering incredibly good value right now, not just as a company, but also in terms of dividends. I mean, it's a company I consider very safe in the long run , which is very good in the volatile environment we live in.
Perhaps that is why you voted for her. But, as you know, it is a basic consumer good with a strong defensive character, and with a huge competitive advantage for all of its brands , they make a lot of smart strategic moves, new acquisitions, and product launches.
All of this results in a large cash flow for them, which helps them to pay very good dividends, the yield of which now exceeds 4.5%. You really can't compete with that "dividend queen" company that has this much power in its business.
I think it's a buy option all the time at these levels, and maybe that's why I voted for it.
Once again, Pepsi is a winning deal in my opinion right now because it is one of the "kings of distribution".
Stocks such as PepsiCo and Tyson Foods, which have dominant businesses in the basic consumer goods brands in stores, Pepsi with beverages and snacks, and Tyson with meats and proteins.
They are market leaders with large dividend payouts and cheap valuations. Therefore, at a rate of just 2% , I wouldn't mind increasing these percentages in the coming months.
We talked about Pepsi and Tyson Foods earlier. You know, people buy their food products all the time without exception. Strong dividend payouts, and cheap valuations. I think it's a great purchase deal.
