$PLTR

PLTR is stretched after rallying from 165 to 210 and may be preparing for a pullback, though not necessarily as large as earlier ones. Hold if you own it and raise stops; don't chase. 195, former resistance, should be defended as support.

So, we reached a brand new record high this week , or rather, an intraday high, and that was Palantir. This stock has really experienced a substantial rise, and the latest breakthrough was on October 25.

We are currently fluctuating around that level a bit . This is what I said, we had this: the price rose to 220 after the earnings figures.

We'll ignore that fuse for a moment, but you know what, Brian? I'm starting to get the feeling that if you look back at December, we also reached a peak a few times and then dropped again, a similar pattern.

We had three or four days in September when we reached a sort of peak . Are we getting a similar feeling now? It has only been a few days. I don't know if we will get too exhausted here.

Probably not. Is this a long-term investment, or what would you consider before investing in Palantir, if you are n't already?

I think that if you have it, you should hold onto it and raise your stop-loss orders . But as you said, it is being stretched too far. We just went from 165 to 210. And if we look back at similar movements like the one you just mentioned, this seems to be one that might be preparing for a pullback, perhaps not necessarily of this magnitude, but you want to protect those gains if you have them.

And I think that at the same time, you do n't want to chase after this stock. So, raise your stop-loss orders if it falls back. It seems that the area around 195, which was formerly resistance , should become the place being defended as a stronghold.
