$SMCI

SMCI is range-bound with a downside bias; negative momentum and cycle patterns support a slight short bias, while a big bounce and the November 3rd earnings report make high implied volatility likely. It may need until the end of the year to become investable and may become profitable then.

That was Nvidia. Here's the stock, SMCI. This stock has announced its earnings and its performance has been extremely volatile. I want you to look here at these weekly cycle patterns, which of course point to a period up to December.

While it drops below the support level, it is trying to hold here, and here is the daily chart. So, here's where Umm... they raised expectations and the stock went up, but the earnings report won't be released until November 3rd here.

So you can see the periodic pattern here and this large rise there. When you look at this , the momentum turns negative, and it seems to me that you may actually be trading within a range here.

So, with this type of stock, when I see this kind of movement, what I'm looking for is a trading range because this could be one of those stocks where you can implement a "straddle" or " strangle" strategy if you're an options trader.

So, that's the range there, and you can see that it's roughly in the middle of the range at that point. I would look for an opportunity with a slight bias to short here because the momentum is negative, and the cycle patterns look negative, but you have this big bounce and there is the earnings announcement coming up, so it is likely that you will see high implied volatility.

However, it seems to me that this stock may need time until the end of the year before it becomes investable if you are an investor. It seems to me that this stock may become profitable at that time.

This is SMCI, i.e., Super Micro. Currently, it seems to me to be confined to a certain trading range with a tendency towards the downside; this is the most accurate description of it now. So, that's what SMCI is all about.
