$SNDK

SanDisk's calculated fair value is 1662; with the stock down 6% today it offers about 11-12% upside, so it is somewhat undervalued but less attractive than Micron. As SanDisk is riskier, a larger-than-usual margin of safety is wanted, making it a buy mainly for risk-tolerant investors.

We have some unfortunate news for semiconductor companies , including Micron, SanDisk, SK Hynix, Samsung, and others, So, I wanted to share with you the details of this announcement and what it might mean for some competitors , and more specifically for Micron and SanDisk.

Is this a buying opportunity for these two companies when the price drops?

So, I wanted to mention SanDisk in this video as well because it's a company whose data I haven't updated in a few weeks, and I took this opportunity to update my fair value estimate for SanDisk and provide investors with an update on whether I think it's a buying opportunity as well.

I calculated the fair value of Sandisk at 1662. Today, the stock is down 6%. Therefore, I see an upside of about 11 to 12% here for SanDisk.

I'm not as optimistic about SanDisk as I am about Micron.

You could say it's a little undervalued , but the margin of safety here, you know, I usually like to have a margin of safety of 5 to 10%, and in the case of SanDisk, I'd like it to be a little bigger because it's a bit riskier .

Therefore, I would say that this seems fairly undervalued to a little less than its true worth. Is this a buying opportunity when the price drops here? Certainly, if you are a more risk-tolerant investor and feel genuinely excited to get into this stock, then yes, it could be a buying opportunity.
