helped me find excellent stocks like Nvidia, TSMC, and Micron years before the rest of the market.
All three of these companies have two things in common . Firstly, their chips are actually manufactured by Taiwan Semiconductor Manufacturing Company, known by the trading symbol TSM.
TSMC produces approximately 90% of the world’s most advanced chips and accounts for 72% of total contract chip manufacturing revenue.
That's because they are the only company that can manufacture advanced chips for all sides in the chip war on a large scale. Graphics processing units for Nvidia and AMD, smartphone processors for Apple and Qualcomm , and custom AI chips for Amazon, Google and Microsoft.
TSMC is so far ahead of any other manufacturer that it dictates the price and customers are forced to pay. Simply put, they have nowhere else to go .
In the last quarter, their revenue rose by 51% year-on-year, and TSMC is said to be raising its prices by up to 10% next year as well.
So, while Wall Street analysts argue about which chip is the fastest, TSMC and Micron are reaping the profits either way .
First, TSMC advances by only one place, swapping places with Broadcom.
