“Ted Weisberg on Energy, Market Breadth & META Buy Opportunity”
Essilor is a strong company; the speaker initiated new buying positions after the stock price reverted to historical lows.

Its stock performance has been volatile, fluctuating up and down. There was a time when the first glasses appeared and the arrow rose, and you had already chosen it, then it took off. Now, what do we see when we look at this graph?

Well, ultimately, Essilor is a very interesting company. I know the focus has been on eyewear with Meta, but if we exclude eyewear and Ray- Ban products, they still hold a market share of about 25% of the entire eyewear industry between lenses, frames and retail stores.

We still think it's a great company, and unfortunately, the stock has returned to the same price level as in the early 1980s when we started buying two years ago, so we started buying it again.
