TXN holds up better within semiconductors and shows relative strength but is not rising, so the speaker is not interested in owning it for relative strength alone; it is not falling much, and he will watch next week for whether it starts to overcome its difficulties.

I think Intel is probably the best, and I've also talked about Texas Instruments, which is a stock that not many people talk about in the semiconductor field, but it holds up much better.

Now , it is showing relative strength, but it is not rising. So, I'm not really interested in the relative power of owning it because it's rising, you know? It's not dropping too far, but it's certainly something to watch for next week in terms of whether, perhaps, it will start to overcome the difficulties a little.

TXN looks the best of the semiconductors: despite some weakness it holds its 50-day average, and if a similar pattern plays out over the next 2 to 3 days it could shoot up and deliver the sector's best performance, though it is not really a leading chip stock and may not be strong enough to take the lead.

And the one that looks best to me is Texas Instruments. Texas Instruments, TXN, uh, we have the 20-day moving average and 50 here. We still see a bit of weakness, but because it is holding the 50 , I think that if you see something like that happen over the next 2 to 3 days , Texas Instruments could very well be the one that really shoots up and uh, you know, a...

I do n't know if it is strong enough to take the lead, because it isn't really a leading semiconductor stock, but this could very well deliver the best performance in that sector.
