“S&P 500 to 8,000? A Brutal Market Reversal Ahead | Gareth Soloway”
Valero is difficult to buy at large sums: as a refiner, its margins periodically shrink when the gasoline refining spread over crude narrows, yet it has risen vertically like an AI/tech stock; he would stay neutral or avoid such names entirely.
I find it difficult to pay large sums for shares like "Valero", don't I? I mean, Valero, which I know will periodically suffer shrinking profit margins as the difference between gasoline refining and what they pay for crude narrows, is currently rising like technology stocks.
And those kinds of graphs, in fact, let me show you here . I mean, if you had told me that Valero was an artificial intelligence stock , and that it was the most popular stock in this field, I would have believed you if I didn't know about the company's business, because the movement seems completely vertical.
However, I should remain neutral towards such names or stay away from them completely.
