“Whirpool WHR Stock - A Story of Buybacks, Leverage, Management & Bankruptcy Next...”
Whirlpool is poor risk/reward: debt-funded buybacks, 7 billion debt refinanced at 7.5% versus 1% to 1.5%, Fitch BB- negative. It won't regain pandemic profits; normalized profit may be 200 million after higher interest. It needs US housing recovery within twelve months to survive; otherwise bondholders may take over.

There are a lot of comments about Whirlpool, which means something big is going on. If you look at the stock price, it has fallen by nearly 90% over the past few years. I have never before conducted an in-depth analysis of Whirlpool.

It was always on the list of stocks you might want to buy, and I mentioned it there.
