Meta rerated and became an AI-leading trade after Muse changed the story. Into next week's earnings I am bullish, but low 700s or below is the bullish setup for calls; closer to 800 means less upside. Strong numbers or Muse revenue guidance could rerate it closer to 1000, depending on spend and the guide.

My example for today is Meta. Meta had a huge rerating uh recently and it's it's a completely different story now. uh you know uh so back in July this is just to show show some some historical prices you and Kira were buying Meta in the mid600s you were buying it earlier than that earlier in the summer in the lower 600 etc but I'm just giving some examples here 656 to 684 28 points uh in a in a two-day time span on Meta all right so in the in July it was it was a it was a stock worth trading but it was a stock worth trading both ways Meta was being shorted by Kira and Rick after earnings back in July at the end of July.
Uh, you know, caught a 20 point short here post earnings. So, you know, it wasn't the story that it is now.
And then Meta announces its Muse AI agent uh that can get it done for you. According to Zuckerberg, Meta could or Meta's Muse could do anything and everything for you. And you said to the room, "This changes the the whole story.
This changes the entire narrative for this stock." Um, you had bought calls. So, this announcement was on September 8th. You bought calls after the announcement. Um, and you trimmed them a little bit.
The next morning, they were up $159% post announcement. $8.50 to $22 overnight on those calls. And you were also long. You you've done a lot in MET 2, MEU, which is the ultra on Meta. It's the 2X ultra, right?
On the stock or is it the 3X? It's the 2X Ultra. So just to catch a little bit more because when you're trading a $700 stock to catch a move is hard.
So people know I also own Meta too but what we try and is knowing that not everyone's a seven figure account and not can just go out and buy a thousand shares of Meta. How can more people in a conviction idea? So we'll we'll use an ultra or an option etc.
For sure to give all the accounts in the room an option to be able to participate. And when it works man the ultra can work. And so, you know, a 13% move on the the stock on Meta is a 26% move in the Ultra. That works out nicely.
Then the Meta Connect conference came in late September 23rd through 24th. And we got more details from Zuckerberg on what Muse I remember what happened here when you're ready because I can tell and not just what Muse was, but also what all the different ways they were going to use Muse with wearable AI and all of these things in their name. Meta and then uh so you bought METU again.
there's also calls that from this week as well. So but Meta has become a focus but yeah talk about what happened after connect because it was well exactly going into connect. So what I like is since I'm not a kid and I've been around 8 million conferences I know expectations get high you often see a selloff.
So, I actually pointed to the conference being the opportunity to probably buy the stock, not the good news, but the downdraft that might ensue and if not not because we're very light meta or flat, I can't remember.
Sure enough, classic sell the news. Right. There was the classic sell the news that I said things are great here. Like this is the beginning of a much bigger move. We're going to buy it.
And that I I just like to say we really plan around events. It's not just about earnings, you know, what's a catalyst for a potential selloff, not just a move higher. And on that, that conference for us wasn't about hype and oh my god, it's going to go higher.
It's we'll probably sell off and offer us an opportunity to buy. I just wanted to mention them.
Yeah. And so that conference with the started on the 23rd, and you're right, the stock went down uh throughout the day on the 23rd. And by the 24th, the morning of the 24th, you can see you were buying 6:52 a.m. pre-market. you said, "This is enough for me.
It's a good pullback. I'm going to get long here again." And you did. And by an hour after the open, you were trimming up 10% uh on the METU. You've done a lot with Meta since then.
But it's still been a focus. You were along these calls over the weekend. So, you bought them last Friday. You got out of them this Monday morning. You bought them at eight under $9, $8.99.
And um they hit a high of basically $16 Monday morning later in the morning. And you can see the screenshots from the chat there. Great focus on Meta DP. Thank you for meta. Amazing positioning for the room.
So again to you the entire story had changed around Meta and the AI space and it became the AI leading trade. Um and you made that very clear to the room that this is where we need to continue to focus.
Um sees on meta. The NBIS comment is because we had puts or and short.
Meta is without a doubt another rerating story, right? like no one really had any faith that all this money that was being spent would add up to something that had any meat on the bone that you could point to that people were using and next thing you know everyone was talking about what they were doing with Muse and how it was actually affecting their life dayto day and that changed everything.
All right. Um and there's a lot to come up with Meta. Next week is earnings and that's going to be um you know I I'll get into that in a bit on on what's coming but just preview there meta earnings are coming up and you can bet the inner circle and David will be focused there.
Next week is a huge earnings week. Meta, Netflix, Tesla, IBM being some of the highlights, but there's definitely more. Meta though being huge, huge for the market next week.
Sure. Uh people that follow me on the chat know so much of a uh earnings report and how the stock responds is where the stock is pre the print, right? And we just saw that with Micron uh great earnings report but limited upside and now it's turned over.
So I always counsel people let let's take a look at the stock itself pre the print and where it is. And what I've basically said is low 700s are lower. I'm pretty bullish into the print closer to 800 pressureures on we're right near all-time highs and he's still spending and there's a lot of potential that he's going to raise capital.
So um I think advertising is holding up. Obviously Muse good read through but in terms of the print here I'm like eh right lower 700s or below I really see a bullish setup um and then thereafter it's going to be so much about the spend right and how to quantify that spend we're finally getting him to quantify it via the success of Muse but giving us some numbers around it and when there'll be revenue from it and uh moreover you know when he foresees a slowdown in spend And so, um, what I what I like to do is tell people, listen, I don't care where we make money from, as long as it's legal.
And if it comes from Meta, that's great. But Meta's already paid us huge, right? Uh, for the last four weeks. So, if it sets up into the print, fantastic. If numbers blow away expectations, if there's some revenue guidance in terms of Muse itself, right, how to quantify what's going to come from it.
Um, then all of a sudden, okay, we can rerate even higher, closer to a,000. It's not an expensive stock trading 2122 times, but so much will depend on the guide, on the spend, on details on Muse, and specifically Watermelon, their new release.
So, uh, here it's fine. Uh, I'm bullish, but I don't think it's like a huge must own in terms of buying calls. I'll I'll own the stock, I'm sure, because I'm up so much in it. But in terms of buying calls, I want to see low 700s or below to play that print.
But I expect good things. I expect a great call. They've already given you some hints. They care. Here's what I mean. We're used to a Zuckerberg who kind of ignores the street and what they want and does what he wants till there's like a pain threshold that it can't do anymore right under 100 he did that in a way we just saw it and it's not just the success of Muse it's the fact that he tweets as much as any CEO now right um and I'm not used to X so I'll call it Twitter and say he tweets and the head of technology I mean the guy who's behind all of this what's his name Joe, I can't remember his name right now, but he's out there front and center tweeting every day.
So, my point is these guys are more active and shareholder friendly than we've seen in so long. So, I I expect good things out of them, but price does matter. Closer to 800, less upside, especially for calls, which will have a a lot of IV into the print.
Swarmer when the entire market is melting down besides like Meta and Dell, he's like, "Hey guys, focus on Meta and Dell. Why are you asking me questions about Sw." And that's where people can learn the most.
Next week is huge. Meta earnings,
