$META

The speaker owns META and is optimistic long term about MetaMuse and Meta's ability to build new products from it. He sees a path to more than a billion users as realistic, citing over 10 million downloads in the first month and a half; profitability depends on a 10x compute-efficiency gain, about 90% lower operating costs next year, so revenue growth outpaces costs. A rough U.S./Canada scenario of 200 million users at about $200 each implies $40 billion annually.

I believe the main reason why so many investors are talking about Meta's stock right now is MetaMuse's personal agent and the success of that agent. It reached over 10 million downloads in just the first month and a half.

Meta's management team has stated that it may be more profitable than the average social media user. If you already own Meta shares, I know that I definitely own them. It is one of the largest centers in my investment portfolio.

CEO Mark Zuckerberg says the average revenue per American social media user is hundreds of dollars per year. The company generates profitable revenue per user from displaying ads even after allowing people to use their apps for free.

CEO Zuckerberg says they expect Muse, the personal agent, to reach a higher level over time because of the volume of trade they anticipate and the volume they see already happening.

They said that the average value of a single transaction is already around $200.

One way is to build trading vehicles where they earn fees based on the transactions they help facilitate. So, if you direct your personal agent "Muse" to search the world for sneakers, jackets, coats, umbrellas, or whatever, Meta will take a fee on each of those transactions.

The fees are small, but they are still fees for each transaction they help facilitate.

In addition, people who wish to obtain more advanced models or use additional codes can subscribe directly and pay a monthly or annual fee for using the service. However, running this personal agent is extremely expensive.

In terms of computing, they are building the capacity to serve more than one billion people over the next few years.

Therefore, Meta has high hopes for this personal agent. They are already developing the capability to provide this personal agent to more than a billion people over the next few years.

In my opinion, this is a realistic use case for Meta because they already have billions of daily active users on Instagram, Facebook and their other apps. Therefore, it is reasonable to expect that Meta Muse, which had a great start, can reach those levels.

Although it currently consumes significant computing power, Meta expects to improve cost efficiency by a factor of 10 within the next year alone. This represents approximately a 90% reduction in operating costs in just one year.

It would be truly impressive if they actually managed to achieve that. They believe that once they can make it more efficient in terms of computing, they will make it profitable as revenues grow accordingly.

So, if you do some quick calculations, they say they will have more than a billion users for the app within the next few years. Let's assume that around 200 million of them will be from the United States and Canada, where they generate an average revenue per user of hundreds of dollars annually.

So, let's do a quick calculation: 200 million people from the United States and Canada generate about $200 in average revenue per user. This could reach a huge scale, generating $40 billion annually from the United States and Canada alone, based on these initial estimates from long-term investors.

As I suspect, this will be a very profitable source of revenue while reducing computing costs and increasing average revenue per user, and then rolling it out globally. As a shareholder in Meta, I am optimistic about this particular product, as well as about Meta's ability to research and develop new products stemming from this current capability in the long term.
