Bullish on MRVL for five years: data-center revenue ~79% of total and +46% y/y. FY2028 revenue near $20B and FY2029 custom-chip revenue near $12B depend on product, demand, manufacturing and deployments. I expect $400 in two years; profit growth of 48% this year and over 70% for the next two years is attractive.

Now, Broadcom is just one of the leading companies in the field of custom AI chips, but there is another company trying to capture a much larger share of the same opportunity. I have just made some very interesting long-term projections, and stock number three is Marvell Technology, trading symbol MRVL.
This is one of the most interesting AI companies to watch over the next five years, as Marvel is going through a major transition. Historically, investors have associated Marvell with a diverse range of semiconductor products used in areas such as networking, storage, and communications.
But today, the company's growth is increasingly driven by artificial intelligence data centers. There are two tremendous opportunities here. Custom AI silicon and high-speed connectivity.
This may seem similar to "Broadcom", because there is some overlap. But here's what I find particularly interesting with regard to " Marvel". Based on its most recent earnings in the second fiscal quarter of 2027, Marvell reported total revenue of $2.7 billion.
That was a 37% year-on- year growth. Its data center revenues reached $2.2 billion. That was a 46% year-on- year growth. Data center revenues accounted for nearly 79% of the company's total quarterly revenue.
Now , look at that. Approximately 80% of Marvel's revenue comes from data centers. The data center sector is growing faster than the business as a whole. This tells me that Marvel is becoming increasingly reliant on and more exposed to the opportunity presented by AI infrastructure.
I believe that could create significant gains for the company.

Just last week , Marvell raised its revenue forecast for fiscal year 2028 to nearly $20 billion during its recent investor day. The company also projected that custom chip revenue would reach nearly $12 billion in fiscal year 2029.
Management has identified a more ambitious long-term revenue opportunity extending into fiscal year 2031. These projections are impressive and encouraging, but they depend on the success of product development, customer demand, manufacturing capacity, and actual deployments.
However, I believe the size of the opportunity is worth considering.
Well, going back to InvestingPro, we can see that Marvell's stock has performed amazingly over the past 12 months, rising by more than 200%, and the company currently has a market capitalization of $241 billion, which actually makes it the second smallest company on today's list.
What's remarkable about the first two companies is that their market capitalization is approaching or exceeding one trillion dollars. There is still a lot of upside to go in my opinion, but the opportunity is for a company like Marvel with huge upside potential.
Returning to InvestingPro, we can see that the investment models currently value the stock at $280, which is roughly equivalent to the stock's current trading price. But the analysts' 12-month target price is closer to $340 per share, giving us a decent-sized gain.
This is certainly a name like " AMD" where we want to be patient rather than jump right in because of the movement they've seen in the last month alone. In fact, I believe this stock will reach $400 over the next two years, and let me explain why .
As you can see on your screen, profits are expected to grow by 48% this year. It is growing faster next year to exceed 70%, and not just in one year, but we expect 70% growth in each of the next two years.
That's truly impressive. Therefore, using next year's forecast, we are looking at a price-to-earnings ratio of 37.8 times. But for a stock that's growing 70% in each of the next two years, I'm impressed with that price-to-growth (PEG) ratio.
Let me go through a few reasons why I prefer Marvell for the next five years , because large cloud companies increasingly want chips that are specifically designed for their workloads, which is very similar to what we talked about with Broadcom, as both help companies develop custom chips.
But Marvell is also involved in the networking and communication technologies required to support those systems. In other words, the company can benefit from both data processing and transmission.
This is important because as AI clusters grow in size, communication between those processors becomes more challenging.
Marvell has also expanded its capabilities in optical communication, including through its acquisition of Celestial AI. This could become particularly important as data centers seek more efficient ways to connect massive numbers of accelerators.
Both Marvel and Creedo have exposure to communication technologies. Ultimately, and to varying degrees, all five companies depend on the continued demand for artificial intelligence infrastructure .
Therefore, owning all five stocks does not automatically mean that you have diversified investments. But before I answer, yes , I own all five shares. I will look forward to building larger centers in these five names.
Marvel provides significant exposure to the growth of custom silicon and communication technologies.
