MSFT is currently in a neutral 'no man's land' zone where chasing the stock offers poor risk-reward due to potential retreats and profit-taking targets.

Well, Microsoft's stock is trending upwards. It broke through the cup pattern at the 465 level and is now at 528. So, a big and good upward move for Microsoft. This area is what I call "no man's land " between the buying area and the selling area, i.e., the target area.
So, it's not good... it's kind of a chase here. You will become unbalanced if you chase him here because he has room to retreat. It also has room to rise, but a lot of the chasing happens and then people take their profits at 20 to 25%.
Therefore, the risk-reward ratio is not in your favor here.
