Speaker remains impressed by Microsoft's AI infrastructure efforts (Azure, Copilot).

I am still impressed with Microsoft and what it is doing in the field of artificial intelligence infrastructure for "Azure" and " Copilot".

And was that in your mind more about companies like Microsoft and some of the big cloud computing companies catching up, rather than the poor performance of the semiconductor sector (SOX)?

Wells Fargo bull thesis on MSFT: overweight rating, PT $725, driven by AI stack (Azure/Copilot) and Nov Ignite conference as catalysts.

We see stocks moving upwards. We are observing some gains in the technology sector in general , as most of the " Big Seven" stocks were in the green today, whether we are talking about Amazon, Nvidia, Microsoft, Apple or Alphabet (Google) for various reasons.

Last but not least, Microsoft. We'll be talking about this stock with Wayne Kaufman later on the show, and you have some news too.

“Better Buy: Microsoft or Alphabet? | MSFT Stock vs. GOOG Stock”
$MSFTNo side taken
MSFT has strong fundamentals (margins, productivity) but is slightly overvalued by DCF ($420 vs $509).

So, Alphabet and Microsoft are two companies I've been interested in for over a decade. I follow these two companies closely . They are among the largest buyers of AI components and AI data center builders.

They are among the largest companies in terms of market capitalization in the United States and around the world. In addition, I own shares in both companies, Microsoft and Alphabet.

MSFT has less cash than invoices, forcing reliance on free cash flow and limiting capital deployment.

So I wondered, what percentage of the total US stock market does Microsoft make up ? I only asked Satya Nadella. Satya Nadella, Mr. Nadella. How is your company worth compared to the total US stock market ?

Guys, the answer is 4.1%, and it represents about 7% of the total S&P 500 index.

Microsoft lacks sufficient immediate liquidity to cover annual obligations without relying on ongoing free cash flow generation.

like we were saying, Microsoft doesn't have enough money to pay its bills right now, which is like wild to say. Microsoft alone makes up about 4.2% of the entire stock, dude. That's crazy.

And they're they're literally out of cash for the year.

Moody's report last night indicated an eyepopping 2.8 trillion of offbalance sheet commitments uh for Amazon, Microsoft, Google, Oracle in the form of future releases. That's an eight-fold jump from 2023.

“The Market’s Most Important Growth Stocks: Dave’s Dirty Dozen”
$MSFTBullish
MSFT has strong technicals and improving relative performance, offering upside potential.

Okay, next is "Microsoft ". Microsoft had a good day last Friday, and I remember that while examining the charts over the weekend, I found Microsoft impressive in breaking through resistance and surpassing the 515 level to reach around 520.

My question for this week is: Will we see a continuation of the upward trend? Not quite yet. We are in the middle of Friday's trading range , but we are very close to a good breakout.

I think the moving averages are in an excellent position. The relative strength index is acceptable. Relative performance is strong. Again, we are testing the resistance and have not yet broken through .

MSFT valuation is not expensive given its growth; expected to rerate higher.

Next up, we have Microsoft. This one is number seven. a $19,000 position, 55K in the green. So far, it's trading at a 26 forward PE ratio. These are not expensive numbers.

There hasn't been many time periods in the past where a group of companies this powerful with this much distribution growing this quickly. High teens revenue growth have been trading in the mid to low 20s PE ratio.

I've really not seen anything like this. These companies will get rerated higher when investors become excited about them again.

MSFT is holding up well; constructive if it holds 509, careful if it breaks below.

I'm also in a little Microsoft which is which is fine. I I I'm just saying like I would do this again. You know, look at Microsoft. Microsoft closed really well. It did closed really well.

It's been holding up for over a month. You did nothing wrong if you were actively trading for a living and you went home with a little Microsoft. I had more intraday. You never want to have too much overnight that you had intraday to make your money.

But I would assume 509. Hopefully 509 holds in Microsoft. Microsoft is only down 214. That's not the end of the world. So Microsoft down small. If it can go red to green, you'll probably make more money than if it opened up two bucks and you're just selling it. So Microsoft's worth a look.

“META MUSE | Amazon Robots | TESLA Roadster Recap Show”
$MSFTBullish
MSFT stock will continue to rise; near-term price target of $560.

Now we move on to Microsoft. It has been a busy week for Microsoft. Its shares started the week at 493 , then rose 4.5%, including more than 3.5% today, and closed the week at 316.

Sorry, not 316. Not Stone Cold. We are talking about the 516 for Microsoft.

This comes in conjunction with the company's launch of what I call the enterprise version of Muse . The company is not slowing down with regard to Copilot. They have updated Copilot , and from what I've seen—and this isn't a product I've personally used, but I'm trying to get feedback from enough people who use it—whether you work for a company or organization that has a license to use it, and perhaps its use is required of you in your work, feel free to share your opinion on Copilot in the comments below, and I'd like to know more about the developments they're making .

Are Microsoft programs perfect? Probably not. Are there always some flaws? usually. But what I like about this program, and I saw a demonstration of it , is that it is multimedia.

It's a much better version of Copilot, and I think we talked about that in last week's episode , and how they're working on making it available to large companies at a lower price when they buy a large number of licenses at once.

Owning a 10-15% stake in MSFT is acceptable if growth continues; hold unless grossly overvalued.

As you know, the beginning of this year was terrible for many of our accounts because we own Microsoft shares, and I felt like an idiot when it dropped from 579 or whatever price it was to whatever level it reached.

But, as you know, she's back now. I would never have known when to buy it back, even if I had been smart enough to sell it at the top, which is impossible, and then buy it back at the bottom.

My clients' situation would have been much worse. So, you just have to stick to it unless things get grossly overvalued, which, as you know, is possible.

“Bull v. Bear: MSFT Upgrade Points to AI Growth Adding Muscle to Mag 7 Stock”
$MSFTBullish
Microsoft's strong management and balance sheet support a bull thesis as AI-driven revenue growth resumes and margin concerns fade.

Microsoft has received a sign of confidence from Stifel, which upgraded the tech giant to a 'buy' rating from 'hold'. The company raised its price target from 530 to 575. This means it is about 15 percent higher than yesterday's closing price.

Stifel expects strong growth in Microsoft's Azure cloud business and increasing use of Copilot and GitHub.

Let's focus on Microsoft 's annual chart . Its shares have fallen 2% year-on-year, but are up 40% from their lows in late June. We recall that we saw a significant decline, but it recovered from those low levels as investors, including Microsoft, became more interested in the software sector .

The company made good profits, and its shares received a positive recommendation this morning.

“MSFT Azure Cloud Boasts Impressive AI Growth, Mag 7 Competition Pose Key Risk”
$MSFTNo side taken
Microsoft is a key player in the $1.2 trillion enterprise cloud market with strong positioning, but faces execution risks in scaling AI data centers to meet demand.

I believe that Microsoft remains a key element in the entire artificial intelligence ecosystem. To such an extent that Azure's AI architecture is a major catalyst for the growth of enterprise cloud computing.

This is evident from Microsoft's allocation of US$116 billion to venture capital in building artificial intelligence infrastructure, an increase of over 80% year-on-year. This figure includes custom- designed silicon chips , as well as the expansion of graphics processing unit (GPU) clusters implemented by the company.

$MSFTBullish
MSFT is a core long-term holding; its scale provides strong competitive moats and positions it as an AI infrastructure winner via existing enterprise distribution.

Growth may then slow down at a time when technology giants such as Microsoft, Amazon, Meta, Oracle, and SpaceX are investing enormous sums in artificial intelligence infrastructure.

if you look at my most important investment assets, you'll find that they usually tend to be Microsoft, Google, and Amazon. These are the giants in whom I already put most of my money .

The reason is that I feel the bigger they get , the more impregnable and difficult their competitive trenches become to penetrate.

MSFT is positioned to win if OpenAI loses, as MSFT holds the IP rights.

Microsoft can spend, and I mean Google will outspend everyone on this . And they are capable of doing that. I mean, I don't think there's anything, unless Sam continues to be as impressive as he seems when he's raising money.

And that he can actually spend $1.4 trillion. So, Google will spend to make sure that it is the one that wins this . But all the CEOs said, "Look, we probably don't all need to do that."

We don't need five of these things. We don't need seven or whatever the number may be. Therefore, it is clear that certain segments of society will be the winners. Since they generate a lot of money and are already large in size, they will continue to grow and generate increasing revenue from this.

“Better Buy: Palantir Stock vs. Microsoft Stock | PLTR Stock vs. MSFT Stock”
$MSFTNo side taken
MSFT is a high-quality 'Hall of Fame' stock with fair-to-undervalued metrics, but offers less upside than PLTR for new capital allocation.

Palanteer is generating a tiny fraction of the overall revenues that Microsoft is generating, but is already earning a profit margin, depending on the metric you look at, better than Microsoft.

Does that make Palunteer stock a better buying opportunity than Microsoft stock at current market prices? Microsoft generated $332 billion in revenue over the trailing 12-month period.

Palunteer a tiny tiny fraction of that at 6.156 billion.

And in fact, uh, this morning, Microsoft also published their own kind of internal, uh, AI use when it comes to, uh, human intervention as well. That came out at around 9:00 a.m. Eastern time.

But um back to Microsoft. Yeah, interesting that you point out the uh code of conduct as well because I think it's a very long piece and I haven't managed to get across all of it, but the takeaway really feels like it's people over AI right now.

It's humans over the technology and I think that's sort of what they're getting at here.
