I have spoken about the shares of "The Magnificent Seven". So, let's take a look at the names in this group and rank them according to their relative strength. A few companies announced important news, but the move towards the "Great Seven" stocks is considered somewhat defensive.

It is a way for institutions to accumulate shares very quickly and participate in the wider market. So, we are seeing price movement here. Then, on October 5, Goldman Sachs also released a report concerning institutional holdings of these "Great Seven" stocks.

What we have seen is a huge leap. Their stake in the "M7" names reached 22% in October, compared to 15% in July. So, let's take a look at the companies that made headlines last week, such as Microsoft (MSFT), where the company announced that it is working with Nvidia on a joint hardware integration in progress.

As you can see, we had this good breakout from the base towards a continued upward trend. We are not seeing very strong momentum, but that certainly does not negate the fact that we are in a definite and good upward trend with Microsoft.

One of two "Big Seven" names breaking through major resistance, Microsoft is the second. I think the key point in Microsoft's drawing is similar to what we saw with CrowdStrike, isn't it? A large move, in this case from the June low, then a true sideways move. If you look, Microsoft is stuck in a range between 480, 490, and approximately 510, 520. It trades within this range, but in the last week it has started to surge upwards.
