We will move from a company with a market value of about one billion dollars to a company with a market value of more than one trillion dollars, which is Eli Lilly. I don't need to explain what Eli Lilly benefits from; the positive momentum is of course the weight loss treatments that have created a sales boom, which reminds me of the sales boom of artificial intelligence companies like Nvidia and Micron.
moving on to the second purchase, we actually have to stay within the pharmaceutical sector for another name that has achieved, if you believe it, an even greater rise. It's kind of crazy.
This name is the recently trillion-dollar pharmaceutical giant, Eli Lilly, whose trading symbol is “LLY”, in which Saudi Arabia has nearly doubled its investments this quarter, pumping about $28 million into this center.
Although Eli Lilly was the second company to introduce oral pills for weight loss treatments, it had already begun to acquire a significant market share. The company boasted a market share exceeding 30% in new initiations within the oral GLP-1 drug sector , identifying more than 36,000 people.
Okay , now I'm going to move on to a completely different sector, which is the healthcare sector . I will talk about Eli Lilly. Again, this may not have been a name that many investors were following, unless you were following the healthcare and pharmaceutical sectors until the last couple of years, with the GLP-1 boom.
Eli Liy could be a $2,000 stock in the next three to four years. That is coming from Home Depot co-founder Ken Langon.
Home Depot, ticker HD, their co-founder Ken Langon, stated that the Mangaro maker Eli Liy, ticker LLY, could reach $2,000 per share within the next three to four years, noting that the drug maker is currently challenging Home Depot as its largest personal investment holding.
Speaking on CNBC's Squawkbox, the uh Invimed Associates chairman and president said, "Eli Lily is giving Home Depot a real run for the top spot in his portfolio." Quote, "I think Lily is going to be a $2,000 stock in the next three to four years."
End quote. Langode said that during the broadcast, and this target is 70.92% higher than Tuesday's closing price. Quote, "Home Depot better get off its rear because Lily may become the number one in this old guy's portfolio." End quote.
And I think while Novo has a good oral wgoi drug that is launching well to be fair and is still one of their bright spots uh the question is in five years is Lily's foundo going to be at or above but most importantly as we've talked about the injectable market is still going to be 65 or 75% of the overall market and Lily's got not only tepatide but you're going to hear about in a month or two the triple G which I think a lot of people including in Silicon Valley are compounding a bit the triple G and also amalin which you're going to hear about which has very high efficacy and not a lot of side effect.
Eli Lilly is it just couldn't handle it, right? It went up here, tried to break out, and then it just broke down. It's now below its 50-day moving average. I don't know what the heck's going on with Eli Lilly, but it's breaking down a bit. So be careful.
