“PayPal Stock Analysis: Value Stock or Value Trap? | PYPL Stock”
$PYPLBullish
PYPL is a buying opportunity with ~39-40% upside over 12-18 months (fair value $77 vs price $55), though conviction is now low due to value trap risk.

PayPal shares are an interesting option . The low valuation and declining share price attract many buyers who make acquisition offers, which is reflected in the share price.

But does PayPal stock make sense for investors at current market prices ? This is the question I want to answer in this video, by looking at the company’s performance over the past few years, comparing it to its valuation, and determining whether it represents an attractive buying opportunity now.

PYPL is undervalued and presents a buying opportunity due to low valuation multiples and improving fundamentals.

PayPal. Yes, this name, you know, some might say: " Be careful with this name , especially with the collapse of the deal or the potential collapse of the Stripe deal." Yes. Why do you prefer PayPal? This looks scary. Why do you prefer PayPal?

Stripe? It doesn't matter. That was a cheap offer. It was a joke. Look, this is a golden opportunity, Tom. Here's why: The stock price is down 80% from its 2021 highs. The stock is undervalued.

Price, value, profits and revenue have increased by 50% since a peak of over $300. Free cash flow exceeds $6 billion annually. They own 15% of the company, and have already bought nearly 30% of the shares. Therefore, free cash flow increased by 27%.

Speaker holds PYPL and views the $60 takeover bid as undervaluing the company's true worth.

Hey guys , I own shares in PayPal. When the stock fell to the low forties, rumors of a takeover emerged. There was a takeover bid at 60, and I was very angry. I said, "No, it's worth much more than 60."

I did not want this acquisition. For me, that was not a correct assessment of the work.

Post-acquisition-fallthrough, PYPL is viewed as a better long-term holding with upside due to attractive valuation; intent to buy more shares.

Um PayPal has started falling again. Now this one we were actually up quite a bit. It started falling again. Why is that? Because basically the acquisition kind of fell through.

Now it it's still kind of like up in the air if something else might happen. I think the CEO recently said that they were, you know, looking at offers and they're always kind of willing to look at offers and stuff, but basically what I think happened is PayPal wanted a little more than what was being offered.

So, um, the acquisition kind of, uh, the offer um, left the table and now they're no longer getting acquired. I actually like PayPal more now that they're not being acquired. I actually think it's an even better holding now and I actually see like quite a bit of future potential in PayPal.

I think it is a dirty valuation and um I am going to actually be looking to buy more PayPal stock.

PYPL technicals are weak; wait for stabilization before entering aggressively.

Okay, I want to specifically ask you about PayPal. Well, PayPal very recently, just go back to July, you received an unsolicited takeover bid. That would be an interesting place to install an anchored VWAP , let's say.

And then you also had the denial that this, well, the withdrawal of that bid caused the stock to drop to the 200-day, uh, SMA. While the weather is dropping, down 3.5% here, is there anything that makes you like the 200-day moving average there at the recent low of 50.50 dollars ?

But is there anything about the anchor that tells you there might still be support, uh, left for PayPal? Because often you think: "Oh, it rose due to takeover speculation. The deal is off.

What possible reason could there be to be bullish? Is there anything left specifically for PayPal?" And if you had to, if you were to anchor, place an anchor at your VWAP because of, say, a rumor about a deal, would that still matter that much in hindsight if the potential for that deal is no longer there? Or is it still just an important level for you?

“PayPal Stock Analysis: Can It Recover?”
$PYPLBullish
PYPL is undervalued from a perspective (9.5x forward P/E vs 15x avg) with upside potential, but growth concerns prevent a large position.

In this video, we take a look at PayPal , whose stock market symbol is PYPL. Recently, you may have noticed that the company's stock has experienced a significant jump. There were rumors about Stripe and its group acquiring it , but these rumors later turned out to be false. The stock then declined slightly.
