“📊 What a "Green" September ACTUALLY Means for October (21 Charts)”
$SPYBearish
SPY shows bearish technicals (sell signal, downward trend) despite all-time high; less attractive than Q's stocks due to traditional company drag and Nasdaq divergence.

Let's take a look at the S&P 500. As I said before, we are at the all-time high, but we have a new sell signal here and the trend looks downward. Remember that Nasdaq can only move the S&P 500 index by a certain amount.

The S&P 500 index includes a lot of old, traditional companies that don't actually move in the same way. But we are now seeing a divergence between the Nasdaq and the S&P 500. I would be more bullish on Q's stocks here than on the S &P 500.

“Yields Ease & Oil Drops: Key Stock Breakouts Ahead”
$SPYBullish
SPY likely stays above the declining trend line if 10-year yields and oil do not spike; near-term bullish bias.

First up, guys, look at the S&P 500 pushing up pretty nicely after yesterday, failing to hold this declining trend line, the breakout scenario that took place on Monday. We never got a follow-up extension, and thus, we came right back down underneath that trend line.

But you see pre-market today looking like we're about to gap up and remain above this. As long as the 10-year yield and US oil do not spike, I see the spiders could have a very good shot of staying above this trend line. near-term for the bulls that would be good. You want to see a close above 768 and54.

“S&P Head And Shoulders Forming: The Target Is The May Lows”
$SPYBearish
SPY is forming a bearish head and shoulders pattern with a potential target at the May lows, implying a ~6% decline.

The S&P 500 is trading on this line, and has seen a notable rise since Friday following a surge of interest in artificial intelligence, then paused temporarily yesterday. The index reached 775 points, and the question was: Will it reach 780 points?

Will it achieve new record levels on the S&P 500 index? We definitely felt that on Monday. But to say that we have seen a major reversal so far would be accurate. We have fallen by about 1% from yesterday's highs on the Standard & Poor's index.

Speaker maintains a core short position in SPY.

looking at the spy for instance I I did take a long trade on this bounce over here and then I'm still short some from over here. So, um, that I covered most of it and actually I covered a lot of it right here and sold back a little bit right here, but I I still have a core position short the SPY and the semiconductors as well.

$SPYNo side taken
SPY technicals are weak/iffy; short-term bounce expected due to mechanical new quarter flows.

by the way the spy is getting a little iffy. I could see why, you know, people are kind of risk down. Yesterday you did get a chance to um manage some of your risk when it uh traded above 76695 and failed to hold it.

But um if you went out short, you know, you just kind of had to know from experience that new month, new quarter usually gets some flows. And there was a selling balance of 12 billion to sell in the last eight minutes of the day. not because you know of macro reasons or this and it was just mechanical.

“Hot Jobs Data Spikes Yields: Markets Rally on Inflation Hope”
$SPYBullish
SPY shows near-term bullish resilience by holding above declining trend lines and avoiding sell-offs during economic stress tests.

First up into the spiders. You can see here down 0 21%. But you notice the high. We were all the way up here above this declining trend line. Let's look at the 10-minute chart to really see what happened in the course of the day.

Now guys, you could see we were green all up until this final red 10-minute candle. This was a rosy day with all of that inflation data. As I mentioned, that was really keeping the markets buoyant.

And then if you flipped up just to look at the markets at the very end of the day, you would have said, "Oh, it was a red day." But guys, that was just one 10-minute candle. The entire day in the markets, we were in the green.

Matter of fact, we gapped up off of that pre-market news and continue moving higher. At one point, look, we were doing our best to maintain again above that declining trend line.

Notice how we just pivoted right off of it at 10:40 this morning, going back to the daily time frame. That would have been a big uh uh deal for the S&P 500 to get through those economic reports and then still remain bullish and pushing up near-term above that uh declining trend line.

Now, we find ourselves basically back here close somewhat very close to where we were yesterday. So, the good thing is though, the markets are getting through these times of stress and tests without really selling off.

Now, yes, we didn't continue staying higher, but all in all, this wasn't that bad of a day when I was anticipating the the inflation numbers to be much worse than they were. So, I think a lot of investors, including myself, um were looking at this somewhat of a positive uh picture for the near term.

“Yield Surge Triggers Equity Drop! Your Next Trade Setup Is Here NOW”
$SPYNo side taken
SPY shows resilience with limited downside despite yield pressure; upside continuation depends on breaking the declining trend line.

First off, with the SPY daily ETF, we see price action down today.18%. We closed here at 764 and 20 up about 50 after hours. Mainly though, guys, we didn't even get near nor touch this declining trend line.

One of which price has really been interacting with uh about five out of the last six trading days. Instead, sending price a little bit lower and still closing within this range.

So, it wasn't that big of a down day. As I said, with the 10-year yield pushing up, we should have seen a little bit more selling pressure. We did not get that. That's telling them telling you the markets are being resilient, folks.
