$CRM

CRM is consolidating with a slightly upward trend and more room to rise, outperforming a down market. It is worth buying but not easy: a break above recent highs at 245 would make it a good buy; the 50-day average is support and the 50-week average first support on a decline.

Let's start with Salesforce. Let's talk about software. Some software companies are experiencing a surge today, including Salesforce. But how do you view Salesforce in terms of trading this stock?

Either there are stocks that are holding steady, i.e., stocks that go against the general trend, because the prevailing ideas on the day of the market down suggest that if the market recovers, we will see stocks like CRM stocks rise even more, because, you know, we are currently up 2.5% in a market that is down 2.5%.

So, I'm impressed with this program; you know, it's suffered for a long time, and it seems to be regaining its luster.

Yes, this stock was among those most affected by the SaaS curve. I mean, if we look back from January to May, we find a sharp decline, but the situation is completely different if we look back from the summer onwards.

So , KG, explain to us what you see in technical analysis. It seems we reached a peak in October, but perhaps we're going back on that trend?

Yes, I think this is actually a consolidation phase for Salesforce stock right now, looking at the chart, and you're absolutely right . The stock is up 2.7%, while the S&P 500 index is down more than 1%.

At this time last year, the stock was trading at around $260, but as you can see, it was already trading below its 200-day moving average . We briefly passed through it between December and early January, and a "head and shoulders" pattern emerged, then we saw a sharp decline, recording lower lows and higher highs.

We reached a turning point around June, when buyers came in strong at around the 140 level, and since then we have been recording higher lows. We saw a slight rise and an attempt to retest this price range between 255 and 270.

We saw consolidation and a slight pullback here, but we are relying on the 50-day moving average (in yellow) as a key support area. We were relying on the 20-day moving average as a resistance zone.

We recently broke through this moving average, and we saw consolidation and an attempt to retest. Therefore, I think the current trend is slightly upward.

An attempt to retest this major price gap we have, which is about $15, between 255 and 270 or 275, and then the possibility of a breakout. The Relative Strength Index (RSI) breaks its series of lower peaks.

The MACD indicator with its 12-day exponential moving average is above the 26-day exponential moving average, and it is also above the zero line. This is a positive sign.

Looking at the long-term weekly chart, we again see that we are in a consolidation phase, or what is known as the cup and handle pattern, where we are testing the main neckline or getting very close to it.

We need to get past the control point for trading volume on the three-year weekly chart , but ultimately, the trend is still somewhat upward , and we have more room to rise. If we decline, the 50-week moving average will be the first support zone.

Okay, Mike, I want to get back to you about your specific trade, but I'd also like to point out that KG has been going against the grain on some charts this week, and he agrees with you here.

So you are on the right track, having won one out of three deals so far. We'll see how it holds up. But how would you recommend trading Salesforce shares?

Yes, I still want to buy this stock, but I don't think it's easy to buy. If we can break above its recent highs at 245, then this would be a good time to buy call options, as the implied volatility is very low.

The purchase price is compared between October 30 and November 13 at 260. Therefore, it will not be a very high price. It can be purchased for $2.50. According to my calculations, if the price rises to 260 , that will give us a return of about $4.50 , which is approximately 1.8 to 1.

Okay. Now, as we mentioned, Salesforce shares are bucking the general market trend, rising by 2.5% and trading at 247.87.
